What's Not Covered

Roof restoration improves performance and appearance. These standard industry exclusions are documented in your signed Work Agreement.

Structural defects or movement

Structural movement, sagging, subsidence, or defects in roof framing, battens, trusses, or supporting structures. Roof restoration is not structural remediation.

Hidden rot or concealed damage

Damage concealed beneath tiles, under sarking, or within roof cavities that is not visible during normal inspection. If discovered during works, we'll notify you and quote separately.

Asbestos-containing materials

Asbestos identification, handling, removal, or remediation. Any suspected asbestos will halt works until assessed and managed in accordance with WA regulations.

Previous coatings or third-party work

Failures caused by prior coatings, sealants, or products not applied by us, including incompatibility, peeling, or delamination from previous contractors' work.

Leaks outside restored areas

Leaks originating from structural faults, plumbing defects, skylights, roof penetrations, objects on the roof, or areas not included in the agreed scope of work.

Normal weathering & colour fade

Gradual colour fade, surface chalking, and environmental weathering are normal characteristics of exterior coatings and do not constitute defects under manufacturer warranty.

Storm, hail, fire & acts of God

Damage caused by severe weather events, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond reasonable control are not covered under workmanship or manufacturer warranty.

Cosmetic variations in finish

Minor variations in colour, gloss, sheen, or texture including roller marks, spray patterns, and differences between new and existing materials are normal for roof coatings.

If we discover any excluded condition during work, we'll stop and discuss options with you before proceeding. No surprise charges. Full exclusion details are in your Work Agreement. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
