What Does the 15-Year Dulux Manufacturer Warranty Cover?

When you restore your roof with the Dulux Acratex system, you're investing in a commitment to your roof's longevity and performance.

Film Integrity

The coating system will retain its film integrity, ensuring your roof remains in top condition.

No Peeling

Coverage against any peeling issues arising from faulty manufacture or formulation.

No Cracking

Your roof coating maintains its integrity, free from unsightly cracks.

Important Clarification: Understanding Your Warranty Coverage

As Dulux Acratex Accredited Applicators, we are approved to offer Dulux's 15-year manufacturer warranty on eligible Acratex coatings. This warranty is issued by Dulux Australia and covers the performance of the coating materials.

The manufacturer warranty does not cover roof leaks caused by structural movement, substrate failure, existing roof defects, building movement, poor ventilation, or factors outside the coating system. Cosmetic appearance, colour variation, gloss level, and natural weathering are not covered.

Roof Restorers Perth Workmanship Guarantee

In addition to the Dulux manufacturer warranty, Roof Restorers Perth provides a workmanship guarantee on installation, covering defects arising from our workmanship. This guarantee is subject to full payment and the terms outlined in your work agreement.

Warranty Requirements

  • Dulux Acratex System:

    Roof must be restored using Dulux Acratex Roof Membrane coating following product specifications

  • Proper Application:

    Applied strictly according to Dulux instructions and applicator manual

  • Substrate Standards:

    Substrate must meet statutory requirements and building code standards

  • No Previous Coatings:

    Warranty applies only to roofs NOT previously coated

Important Exclusions

  • Previous Coatings:

    Does not cover application over existing coatings

  • Consequential Loss:

    Excludes indirect loss like income, profit, business, or reputation

  • Additional Coatings:

    Void if another coating is applied over the Dulux system

  • Natural Weathering:

    Minor color/gloss changes, fading, chalking due to normal weathering expected (Normal fading from UV exposure is expected and not covered)

Looking After Your Roof Long-Term

A restored roof is a low-maintenance roof, but here's what to keep in mind over the years:

Years 1-5

Your roof should need nothing. Just enjoy it. If you notice anything unusual, get in touch.

Years 5-10

Keep gutters clear of debris. Consider a gutter check if you notice drainage issues.

Years 10-15+
